We are delighted to present version 1.8.4 of Dastra! This new update is packed with exciting new features, significant improvements, and fixes that make your experience even smoother. Discover the latest developments regarding our AI assistant, advances in rights request management, and much more. π
π New Features
AI-generated questionnaires
Say goodbye to manually configuring questionnaire templates! Our AI assistant can now generate questionnaires tailored to your needs based on a few instructions. Specify your requirements, the desired type of questionnaire (Standard, Compliance, or Training), refine it with sections and a desired number of questions, and let our AI assistant do all the work!
Adding documents and URLs to AI requests
Enhance your AI requests by attaching documents or links! Whether it's providing context or references, this new feature opens the door to even more relevant interactions with our assistant.
Anonymization of rights requests
Protect the confidentiality of sensitive data with our new anonymization feature for rights requests. Once a request has been processed and closed, this action allows you to replace all identifying information related to the request author with randomly generated data, allowing you to maintain a history of the request for your statistics.
In practice, anonymization replaces names, first names, email addresses, physical addresses, as well as the request ID with fictional values, ensuring that no personal data can be traced back to its source.
π Attention: This action is irreversible. Once the data is anonymized, it will be impossible to revert or retrieve the original information. We recommend verifying that the request is fully finalized before proceeding with this step.
Furthermore, this action is particularly flexible: you can anonymize requests one by one or in bulk, simplifying archive management while reinforcing compliance with privacy and security requirements.
Adding anonymization as a purge mode for rights requests
In your workspace settings, you can configure a purge mode for archived rights requests. Previously, it was only possible to delete archived rights requests. With the addition of anonymization, you can now choose to anonymize as a purge mode instead of deleting. This allows you to keep statistics on the requests while meeting compliance requirements and personal data retention.
New workflow rule actions for rights requests
We have enhanced the available actions in the workflow rules for rights requests with the following two actions:
- Move to trash
- Anonymize request
New permission: 'Read/Write own items'
Even more granular role management! You can now set specific permissions to allow users to manage only their own items (i.e., items assigned to them or in which they have been designated as an approver, performer, or informed). This option is available in the tasks, registry, rights exercise, incidents, contracts, and AI systems modules.
Incident registry dashboard
Maintain a clear and organized overview of your incidents with this new dashboard. Visualize, track, and analyze your incidents with ease.
β¨ Improvements
- Description in custom reports for better understanding and information sharing.
- Redesign of the 'Recurrent date control' interface in workflow rules to be more intuitive and user-friendly. Additionally, a button has been added to see on which items the rule would be applied.
- Addition of documents and export in text format (html, docx, pdf) for the contract module.
- Improved readability and addition of an explanatory legend for color codes when responding to a questionnaire to easily identify mandatory questions and questions awaiting a response.
- Support for right-to-left languages in rights request forms (Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian). You can now create versions of your forms that support this reading direction.
- As part of the release of the Contract module, the 'DPA date' field in an actor's record was deprecated, as it is now recommended to manage your DPAs directly within the Contract module. We have now removed the ability to fill in this field in an actor's record. No worries if you had DPA dates entered in your actor records: these values have been automatically migrated to a custom field named 'DPA date'.
